Assi Abogado (b. 1999, Philippines) is a non-binary interdisciplinary artist
drawn in the agencies of body, identity, memory, and its corporeal experiences.
Through drawings, video, performance, and installation, they intertwine
the ecosystems they exist in, (re)imagining and (re)producing narratives
of the self that concretize the being——defining the self to engage
within the contemporary and post-alternative environments.

They have presented work and participated in projects in Budapest, Bacolod, Dubai,
Los Angeles, Malmö, Manila, New York, Tecate, and Vienna.

Currently based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates via Angono Rizal, Philippines.
