Joining the team as Visual Director, Project Manager, and Resident DJ, Assi Abogado helped develop Dancewerk’s visual identity into one that reflected its sound: tasteful, referential, and closely tied to the graphic language, atmosphere, and ephemera of the club cultures that inform it.
As sonchauni, Assi’s selections within Dancewerk further explored this intergenerational relationship to dance music, moving through house and electronic sounds with a shared appreciation for groove and nuance of the 90s dance floor.
