Mainstreams/// interrogates the multiplicity of self, exploring how these layered identities navigate and interact with the external world that shapes and reflects them. The work reflects on the tension between internal complexity and external perception, considering how the self is both influenced by and projected into its surroundings.
The work was presented as part of Broken Ladders and Hissing, a group exhibition curated by Mariano Batocabe at Para//Site Projects Studio on August 31, 2019.
