Relics of the Future’s Past follows a speculative journey through fragments of memory, identity, and time. The work traces a process of introspective migration, in which the self moves through scattered remnants of experience in search of reconciliation. Through this passage, the ephemeral nature of identity becomes a site of transformation, where acceptance of impermanence enables a form of transcendence.

Positioned as an ongoing odyssey of self-discovery, the work considers the non-linear relationship between past, present, and future, assembling their fragments into a provisional whole.

Relics of the Future’s Past has been presented in several international exhibitions, including Wild at Heart / Weird on Top, presented by Pastor Projects and curated by Dana Dawud in collaboration with the Instituto Municipal de Arte y Cultura in Tecate, Mexico last February 23, 2024. The work has also appeared in the Open Secret screening series curated by Dana Dawud across multiple venues: Skene, Drottninggatan, Malmö, Sweden last April 30, 2024; KultFilmKlubb, Budakeszi, Hungary last May 9, 2024; Millennium Film Workshop Inc., Brooklyn, New York last June 22, 2024; and Creative Cluster, Vienna, Austria last July 4, 2024.

The work’s score titled Agnós is featured in SONIC AGENCY: LISTENING SESSION XVI last June 28th, 2024 in Westbahnstudios, Vienna.
